Rey Supermorph brings procedural media morphing to DaVinci Resolve, the first of its kind. Connect two images, drag one slider, and watch one fly in, crash into the other and melt into its new shape. Icons, logos, text, photos or video: anything, into anything.
Rey Supermorph is a Fusion tool with two inputs: what flies in (Source) and what it lands on (Target). Keyframe one slider from 0 to 100 and the whole animation happens by itself: the first half is the flight, the second half the morph. No points to place, no masks to draw, no frame-by-frame work. The shapes really crash, bend and melt into each other instead of just fading, and it's GPU accelerated, with smooth previews and fast renders even in 4K.
Several morph types decide how the two meet, from a full crash to a morph in place, and a range of morph styles gives every transition its own character. Path Controls add flight effects and let you draw your own flight path right in the viewer. Impact Controls make the target react to the hit and fire impact effects at the moment of impact, each with its own size, duration and colour. Preview buttons pin the viewer to either side while you set up, and several Supermorphs can be chained so multiple sources land in one target
