Nostalgia Grade

The Complete Handycam Bundle is built around a layered DaVinci Resolve PowerGrade designed to recreate the look and behavior of classic Handycam footage. The node structure includes exposure and tint controls, a custom Handycam LUT, JPEG and VHS-style damage, lens distortion, camera shake, motion-sensitive double-image effects, and additional retro processing.

The bundle includes two grading workflows. For faster edits, the included Resolve project file provides pre-built adjustment layers and date/time overlays that can automatically adapt using timeline metadata. For more control, the PowerGrade can be imported directly into the Color page and adjusted through its individual nodes.

The Effects compound node also includes seven toggleable looks inspired by vintage camcorder modes, including night vision, thermal, and negative- style effects. The full bundle also includes 15 Handycam transitions and 20 Handycam sound effects for building out the visual and audio character of the footage.
